A bright retro runner is joining New Balance’s May lineup with a bold yellow-based colorway. The New Balance Gator Run “Apollo Gold” brings a vintage low-top shape with a sunny palette built for warmer months.
Sunshine suede covers the toe box, lace panel, and heel, creating a warm base across the upper. A lighter yellow mesh side panel adds contrast while keeping the design breathable and easy to wear.
Black accents hit the side “N” logo, heel tab, and outsole, giving the pair a strong contrast against the golden upper. The mix creates a Wu-Tang-like color balance without overcomplicating the design. White laces, a white tongue, and a matching sockliner help clean up the look.
Yellow branding on the tongue tag ties the colorway together and keeps the theme consistent from top to bottom. The final result is a retro-inspired New Balance runner with enough color to stand out for summer.
