There’s little room for debate: this season wasn’t the picture-perfect one that the Boston Celtics may have hoped for given they ended in the #2 position in the Eastern Conference. Yet at the start of the year, hearing that what was widely projected as a down year would still result in nearly 60 wins and the near-full-strength return of Jayson Tatum from a gruesome Achilles injury would’ve been a banner achievement to nearly all of the Beantown faithful.
#0’s short (but no doubt arduous) road back from that tragedy against the Knicks was certainly something that we thought would preclude him from ever wearing the Tatum 4 on the parquet floor, a footnote in the overall story but one absolutely worth celebrating on our end. As we start wrapping our heads around the Tatum 5, its predecessor is trotting into the offseason with a chilly “Cool Grey.” Though draped entirely in the steely shade, the silhouette adds glossy leather at the heel, on the tongue, and on the lacestay panel that converts to a mudguard toward the toe.
The Jordan Tatum 4 “Cool Grey” is expected to release on June 1st, expected to command its standard $130 retail price. Watch our Jordan Releases 2026 page for more info on this pair and all the Jumpman has in store.
