The Whitaker Group continues to stretch its adidas “Do Not Duplicate” series with the new adidas BW Run. After leaning into chunky retro skate energy with the adidas BW 2000s, this latest model shifts toward a sleeker ‘70s running lane while keeping the familiar BW DNA intact.
The adidas BW Run carries over GAT-inspired paneling across the toe, sidewalls, and heel. However, the shape feels closer to vintage adidas runners like the SL 72, though it does not copy that model directly. Nylon underlays, suede overlays, and leather accents give the shoe a layered retro look, while the low-profile build keeps it more streamlined than the BW 2000s.
Four colorways are expected to lead the launch. The lineup includes Grey/White, Grey/Blue, Grey/Red, and Brown, each using cream midsoles and rugged black or brown traction underfoot. The Grey/Blue and Grey/Red pairs bring the boldest color hits, while the Grey/White and Brown styles offer a more neutral approach.
Three serrations on the heel tab and a blank tongue tag point back to The Whitaker Group’s “Do Not Duplicate” language. That detail suggests the adidas BW Run could release through EQL raffles across TWG’s retail network, including shops under its growing umbrella.
The adidas BW Run collection is currently expected to release during Summer 2026. Pricing has not been announced yet, but more details should arrive closer to launch.
