adidas has officially released Mexico’s 2026 third kit ahead of the FIFA World Cup, pairing the launch with a special adidas Originals collection created with Someone Somewhere. The release celebrates Mexico’s historic role as the only nation to host the World Cup three different times.
The adidas Mexico 2026 third kit arrives in a sleek black design covered with a tonal “MX” pattern. Inspired by “The Mexican Wa(y)ve,” the jersey connects national pride with movement, energy, and the country’s deep soccer culture. The adidas Originals Trefoil appears on the right chest, while “Somos México” is stamped on the back of the neck.
Someone Somewhere adds a deeper cultural layer to the collection through handmade details crafted by women artisans in Mexico. More than 150 artisans from Naupan, located in the Sierra Norte of Puebla, worked on the project for over a year. The group used more than one million meters of thread across the collection.
Every crest, Trefoil, and Three Stripes detail was embroidered by hand, giving each piece a personal connection to its maker. Each item also includes a tag with the artisan’s name and a QR code that shares more about her story.
The adidas Mexico 2026 third kit and Someone Somewhere collection blend sport, heritage, and craft in a meaningful way. With the World Cup approaching, this release gives Mexico fans a bold new look rooted in national identity. Grab the collection at adidas.com.
