Pokémon Airport Noto Japan

Pokémon is celebrating its 30th anniversary with a major travel project in Japan.

The project is part of a partnership between Ishikawa Prefecture and the Pokémon With You Foundation. It was created to help bring tourism back to the Noto region after the 2024 Noto Peninsula earthquake. The themed airport will operate through September 2029.

Inside the terminal, travelers will find Pokémon artwork, signs, displays, and large installations. A giant Pikachu-and-airplane balloon will hang in the two-story atrium, while all 111 Flying-type Pokémon discovered as of May 2026 will appear throughout the airport.

The arrival lobby will feature “A Bright Future,” a reconstruction support artwork created after the earthquake. Pikachu, Plusle, and Minun will also appear as large monuments welcoming visitors to Noto.

The airport will include a rooftop observation deck called “Pikachu’s Village,” exclusive short films viewable by smartphone, and a new artwork titled “Sky of Hope.” That artwork will appear on decorations, merchandise, and Pokémon-wrapped buses traveling around the Noto Peninsula.

Restaurant Annon will serve Pokémon-themed pancakes and drinks, while Serendipity will sell exclusive airport goods, including apparel, luggage tags, and travel accessories.

Pokémon buses will also connect travelers to local attractions, including the Wakura Pokémon Footbath and the “Sylveon with LOVE” monument in Suzu City.

Noto Satoyama Pokémon With You Airport turns the franchise’s milestone year into something bigger than a themed attraction.
