Pharrell’s work for adidas continues to expand past the bulky Jellyfish silhouette, and his next collaboration goes in an even simpler direction. The Pharrell Williams x adidas Virginia Water Moc “Lucid Ray Blue” is set to release September 15th, 2026 and will retail for $140.
The model ties back to the early sole teasers Pharrell shared this year, when several unreleased adidas designs were shown from the bottom up. While the Jellyfish pushed volume and exaggerated shape, the Virginia Water Moc brings that same future-minded approach into a lighter, more utility-driven build.
Silver leather makes up the top section while blue nubuck and brown mesh are used to create detail throughout. It also has a covered closure system, giving it a more technical look and feeling more like an outdoor shoe than a traditional lifestyle sneaker.
The sole keeps some of the sculpted language seen across Pharrell’s recent adidas direction, but it is less bulky than the Jellyfish. That slimmer shape gives the Virginia Water Moc a more wearable look while still keeping it distinct from traditional moc-style designs.
The Pharrell Williams x adidas Water Moc “Lucid Ray Blue” remains an expected release, so final details could shift closer to launch. For now, the pair shows another lane for Pharrell and adidas, mixing utility design, lifestyle comfort, and a softer version of his current footwear style.
