Bad Bunny’s Zara rollout already felt real before Zara confirmed it. Benito wore pieces tied to the project during his Super Bowl halftime performance in February, then carried the connection into May with a custom black tuxedo co-designed with the brand for the Met Gala.
The Bad Bunny ZARA BENITO ANTONIO Collection officially releases Thursday, May 21, at 12 AM ET on Zara’s website. Select Zara locations worldwide will also receive the 150-piece lineup, including dedicated spaces at Zara Man in Soho, The Grove in Los Angeles, and Miami Brickell.
Janthony Oliveras, Bad Bunny’s longtime creative director, helped shape the collection around the kind of clothing Benito has made part of his everyday style. Wide-leg trousers, oversized zip hoodies, boxy pink tees, sun-faded yellow and coral tones, and tailored double-breasted suits give the range a full wardrobe feel instead of a small celebrity capsule.
Puerto Rico sits at the center of the project. Zara gave the island early access through a surprise pop-up at Plaza Las Américas in San Juan, where Bad Bunny appeared without warning. That hometown-first rollout gave the collection a stronger cultural foundation before its wider release.
STILLZ photographed the campaign in Puerto Rico, continuing his long-running visual partnership with Benito. The imagery, developed with M/M Paris, focuses on details that feel specific to the island, from cracked sidewalks and electric poles to handmade textures and warm natural light. One campaign image shows Benito beside a small wooden boat with a sail made from pieces in the collection, a visual that says more about the project than a standard fashion rollout could.
The Bad Bunny ZARA BENITO ANTONIO Collection lands as a fashion release built around place, personal style, and identity. For Zara, it connects the brand to one of music’s most influential global figures. For Benito, it keeps the story rooted in Puerto Rico before the rest of the world gets access.
