The Air Jordan 3 “Red Flip” is already shaping up as one of Jordan Brand’s more interesting 2027 releases. Early reports have the pair launching on February 13th, 2027, one day before Super Bowl Sunday at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California.
Jordan Brand recently leaned into major sports moments during All-Star Weekend in Los Angeles, where it highlighted upcoming pairs like the Air Jordan 6 “Reverse Infrared” and Air Jordan 4 “Lakeshow.” Now, it looks like the brand may use the Super Bowl stage for another big sneaker moment.
The “Red Flip” name points back to the original Air Jordan 3 “Flip” from 2007. That pair flipped the model’s famous elephant print by covering most of the upper in the pattern instead of keeping it only on the toe and heel. A black version followed in 2010, making this rumored red edition the third take on the concept.
This new version is expected to feature a Varsity Red color scheme, which also connects with Valentine’s Day weekend. However, early mockups are only guesses for now. The final design could look different once official images surface.
