The California-born designer got on the board early with the Megaride AG in two contrasting, neutral executions, before paying off a Paris Fashion Week pair in vibrant pink. With the Megaride family serving as adi’s best representative in a suddenly crowded “vis tech” category, they’re sticking to Willy as its primary collaborator.
As its title would indicate, the adidas Copa Mundial Megaride mashes up the upper of a classic Three Stripes boot design with the maximalist platform we’ve become so accustomed to. Further tapping into heritage looks is the classy black/white colorway Chavarria delivers here, leaning into the brand’s storied history on the pitch. Extended tongues with CHAVARRIA branding and a double-stacked Three Stripes logo on the interior close it out.
