The Nike Air Bakin’ is back. Originally released in 1997 and associated with Miami Heat guard Tim Hardaway and Timberwolves forward Kevin Garnett, the model is set to begin another retro run with OG colorways and new looks in 2027 for its 30th anniversary. Here we have a first look at one of the latter, a brand new “Black/Chlorophyll/Multi-Color” option for Spring 2027.
Unveiled by NYC boutique two:minds, the sneaker immediately brings to mind Supreme’s collaborative gradient colorway from 2023, that shoe featuring a sunset-esque transition across the main upper panel. This fits into that same aesthetic territory, though the lone, albeit hazy image available hints at a more glittery, perhaps lenticular finish. The sneaker joins the original “Varsity Red” and “Varsity Royal” colorways among upcoming releases, both expected for Holiday 2026.
The Nike Air Bakin’ SP “Multi-Color” is currently expected to drop Spring 2027, meaning between January and March, for $170 in men’s sizes. We’ll circle back as soon as we have more images to share.
