“Camo Green” Sneaks Onto The Nike Mind 002

We’ve been in Nike’s Mind palace for more than five months, but the intrigue for many remains. To be blunt, outstanding questions and curiosity surrounding the silhouette boil down to the fact that large swaths of its fanbase haven’t been able to test out the neuroscience-inspired tech the series is built on.

That’s despite heavy efforts to ameliorate that on the Swoosh’s part; restocks of already-released pairs and a deep roster of new color options for the Mind 001 and Mind 002 will likely continue apace until that supply vs. demand push and pull evens out. As that stock level battle rages on, Beaverton’s designers have pushed both models into new visual territory, now on display with the Nike Mind 002 “Camo Green.” Given that the Mind family began in expressive, eye-catching fashion, the calmer aesthetic this pair reaches for marks a real divergence. The entire upper, midsole, and underfoot pods are united in that tonal “Camo Green,” before earthy “Newsprint” and “Phantom” capture the collar, heels, and laces.

The Nike Mind 002 “Camo Green” should release sometime in the Summer/Fall window, retailing for the standard $145 retail price in men’s sizing.
