New Balance 2010 “Pink Chalk/Sea Salt” U20106PT

More and more, there’s a natural split within the New Balance catalog; their “Made in” propositions, in which Boston and Flimby manufactured products hold up high-tier material quality and understated palettes. By contrast, the other half of their efforts upholds a more fashionable, mass-produced flank, a cadre that got serious shine within the “Grey Days” collection that spotlighted kicks like the 2010, 1890, 204L, and more.

Beyond allowing the brand to tackle trending aesthetics and speak to buzzy categories, those more accessible silhouettes have demonstrated NB’s willingness to, ironically, break away from their more neutral-toned offerings. The New Balance 2010 has been especially prolific in that respect, beginning its journey in 2026 with an immediately eye-catching “Pink Heat” and continuing to drop of vibrant editions in the months since. This pastel “Pink Chalk” variant may not be the show-stopper that its peer is, but nonetheless allows some more energetic tonality to imbue the 99x-inspired hardware that’s been in such heavy supply as of late.

The New Balance 2010 “Pink Chalk” is available now via select overseas retailers. Expect a wider NB launch to follow in the coming months as the Summer/Fall catalog further develops. A $145 retail price is expected once that occurs.
