The 2000s nostalgia wave runs deeper than just the models released during that era. For Jordan Brand, it also extends to specific colorways that originally dropped in the 2000s on silhouettes from the decades prior, many of which are only now getting their first true retro treatment.
The Air Jordan 5 “Black/University Blue” is a prime example, originally released in 2006 as part of Jordan Brand’s celebrated Lifestyle Series. Two decades on, it’s finally back for its first-ever retro. Black nubuck with University Blue contrast stitching defines the upper, complemented by a reflective tongue and University Blue Jumpman logo at the heel. The midsole comes in black with white shark teeth and icy blue traction underfoot.
