By way of the late, great Kobe Bryant, Nike’s lifestyle icons have gotten well accustomed to suiting up in snakeskin. Running parallel to the Air Force 1 series with similar aims, the “Draft Day” Dunk Low has been the most visible intersection between Peter Moore’s design and literal Mamba inspiration, yet with no end in sight for #8’s explorations of off-the-court ventures, it seems a safe bet that this won’t be the end of its zoological efforts.
At least on a mainline level, we can already confirm that more of that is in store. A Nike Dunk Low in “Black Snakeskin” has now trickled out of the Swoosh’s servers. That nocturnal aspect makes it a darker, restrained delivery of the titular materiality, with faux-aged treatments on the midsole only accentuating what’s a low-key pair overall.
The Nike Dunk Low “Black Snakeskin” should be touching down via Nike.com and partnering retailers in short order. Expect a $125 sticker price in men’s sizing. Stay tuned to this page and our Sneaker Release Dates hub for any additional launch info as it comes.
