Arte Antwerp Brings Their Elevated Touch The adidas F50 Motion

As demonstrated by the Bad Bunny Ghost Sprint, adidas’ F50 family got a ton of burn during the World Cup hysteria, but its impact will be felt long after the confetti rained on the Spanish national team. Y-3 and SP5DER are just some of the labels to recently get in on the action, with an effort from Arte Antwerp building on that history.

Arte Antwerp leans on the formal sensibilities they’ve displayed in past adi collabs for this design, bearing the greatest resemblance to the F50 Club but nonetheless seeped in the football hallmarks that’ve been in such heavy use over the past year and change. Pushing the silhouette into a lifestyle space isn’t just a nominal mission, however. New leather overlays and a street-ready sole unit with checkered traction make that abundantly clear. The finer material choices harken to the brand’s roots in Belgium and Portugal, as the crinkle uppers touch on lace craftsmanship across both the all-white and all-black colorways.
