The $250 ASICS GEL-Kinetic 2.0 Checks Off A Contemporary “Olive Green”

ASICS’ dominance of the tech-runner movement has been built largely on its accessible, roughly $100 offerings, but the Japanese brand continues to impress at the highest end of the price spectrum as well. The GEL-Kinetic 2.0, a successor to the GEL-Quantum Kinetic that debuted earlier this year, caters to those willing to spend more for a decidedly more premium proposition.

Fall 2026 brings a crowd-pleasing, thoroughly contemporary “Olive Green” colorway. Official images reveal an Olive Green foundation, with the titular shade covering the mesh base, TPU underlays, and the entire upper portion of the midsole. The side motifs arrive in a lighter green hue accented by black and gold detailing, while gold GEL cushioning appears within the heel frame.
