Nike is continuing its deep dive into Kevin Durant’s archive, bringing back one of the most recognizable holiday sneakers from the early 2010s. The Nike KD 6 “Christmas” is officially set to return during Holiday 2026, marking its first comeback since its original 2013 release.
Built around a festive theme, the sneaker leans into bold seasonal colors without losing its on-court identity. A bright crimson upper takes center stage, styled to resemble a glossy holiday ornament. Green accents land on the tongue and outsole, while metallic gold details add contrast across the branding. This retro version also introduces a slightly updated finish, including glittered gold hits on the heel KD logo and the oversized Swoosh near the forefoot.
Within Nike Basketball’s history, the KD 6 “Christmas” stands alongside other standout holiday releases like the Kobe 6 “Grinch” and “Christmas” LeBron 10. Its return signals Nike’s continued focus on reviving fan-favorite performance models tied to key moments in basketball culture.
The pair will also join a wider KD 6 retro lineup, including anticipated returns like the “All-Star”, “PB&J”, and “Aunt Pearl” colorways.
