Pharrell Williams continues to expand his adidas VIRGINIA vision with the latest adidas Adistar Jellyfish release, now arriving in two new colorways. After early previews throughout 2025, both the “Triple Black” and “Royal Blue” editions are set for a wider global launch.
Momentum around the model has been building following its Footwear News 2025 Shoe of the Year recognition. The “Triple Black” pair first surfaced in New York City through an exclusive drop at Billionaire Boys Club on Mercer Street. Meanwhile, Las Vegas hosted a limited release of the “Royal Blue” colorway, which quickly sold out. Now, both versions are finally reaching a broader audience.
From a design standpoint, the sneaker stands out with its bold, wave-inspired midsole, drawing influence from the fluid motion of jellyfish gills. The upper features layered mesh construction combined with an exoskeleton-like framework, creating a sense of depth and movement. Glow-in-the-dark accents further push the experimental aesthetic, reinforcing the futuristic identity tied to Pharrell’s VIRGINIA creative direction.

The adidas Virginia Adistar Jellyfish “Royal Blue” and “Triple Black” will retail for $300 and release globally on February 21st. Pairs will be available through select retailers and adidas.com, with early access signups opening via the Confirmed App on February 16th.
