Barring a reversal of course like the Minnesota Timberwolves pulled off with Mike Conley, the Rob Dillingham takeover will have to grow legs in Chicago. No doubt, shifting to a squad clearly willing to let talented young players stretch their wings will be a boon for the Kentucky product. For what it’s worth, his footwear sponsor still has the utmost faith in #7, as a fresh Rob Dillingham PE on the Nike GT Cut 4 demonstrates.
A little under a year before this, Nike issued colorways of the GT Cut 3 Turbo for him and Reed Sheppard, a checkmark in an overall Swoosh project handing player exclusives to celebrate up-and-coming talent under their umbrella; the GT Cut 1 for Dylan Harper or the GT Future for AJ Dybantsa offering some additional nodes in that same series.
Depicted juxtaposed to that previous pair below, the Nike GT Cut 4 goes for a calmer, yet still just as eye-catching overall profile; silver and gold tones collide throughout the shoe, capitalizing on the metallic overtones that have paced the silhouette throughout its first couple of months on the shelves. Dillingham’s “Rob With Da Shifts” logo, a creative use of a gear selector to hit his “RD4” moniker, closes on the heel.
The Nike GT Cut 4 “Rob Dillingham” PE should be hitting shelves as part of the Fall 2026 slate. Catch in-hand images below and watch our Sneaker Release Dates page for more info as that continues.
