The world of Air Jordan offshoots, spin-offs, and hybrids really is a sordid one; some are able to carve out new space in the Jordan catalog, while others end up closer to punchlines within the fanbase. Perhaps the real purists will still raise issues with the Air Jordan 4 RM, but to our eye, the model cleanly fits the former category, demonstrating real legs as it works into its third year on the shelves.

With dozens of colorways now under its belt, the RestoMod is clearly pushing its own boundaries when it comes to color-blocking, something that this “Dark Team Red” well demonstrates.
