The Tiempo Hybrids Have Reached The Air Jordan 1

Soccer mashups are slowly creeping into every corner of Beaverton HQ. The Nike Air Max 95, Shox Magia, and Air Max Plus are just some of the silhouettes that’ve taken cues from earnest performance, let alone the modifications of actual athletic styles that’ve hit the newswire as of late.

In an increasingly common category-jumping move between Nike and Jordan brand, that same crossover concept now bridges onto the Air Jordan 1. As seen by Mike’s first signature’s forays into high fashion or the tech runner world, the model has never been shy about taking over a modified form, but switching lanes from basketball to soccer no doubt marks a new trick up its sleeve.

An additional “shroud” panel that here appears stabilized into the laces is the most obvious way it meets its second sport, though an extended patch of stars just under the lacestay continues that redux. Further, a pick-shaped Jumpman logo runs in place of the usual branding, including on the insoles and both tongues. A shimmering gold metallic and gum colorway closes out in the typical eye-catching finish expected of on-pitch wear.
