Phoenix Suns star Devin Booker continues his ongoing college-inspired PE run with a new edition of his signature sneaker, the Nike Book 2 “Oregon Ducks”. The latest player-exclusive pair adds another collegiate nod to a growing lineup that already includes styles inspired by Michigan State and USC.
This latest pair arrives in the model’s “Spiridon” configuration, a design approach that draws inspiration from Nike Running silhouettes of the late 1990s. The build features breathable mesh paneling, layered overlays, and flowing lines that echo the brand’s archival performance footwear. Booker has consistently favored this Spiridon-styled construction since the Nike Book 2 debuted earlier this year.
While many sneakers tied to the Oregon program lean heavily into the school’s bold green-and-yellow palette, this pair takes a more restrained direction. The design stays relatively clean while still acknowledging the Ducks’ identity through subtle details. A UO logo appears on the heel, while bright yellow accents highlight the Swoosh, forefoot, and tongue.
The university’s connection to Nike also runs deeper than most collegiate programs. Oregon shares long-standing ties with the brand, as Nike co-founder Phil Knight attended the school and helped shape its historic relationship with the company.
Although Booker played college basketball at Kentucky, the continued rollout of these school-inspired colorways appears to celebrate Nike’s broader influence across the college basketball landscape. With March Madness approaching, it would not be surprising to see additional collegiate-themed player exclusives surface soon.
As expected with most player-exclusive releases, the Nike Book 2 “Oregon Ducks” PE is not expected to release to the public and will remain exclusive to Booker.
