BenG Nike SB Air Force 1 Low “Light Chocolate” IV5289-200

Nike SB’s Air Force 1 Low project is starting to take shape, and BenG looks to be one of the first skate shops attached to the rollout.

The Amsterdam store is dropping its own BenG x Nike SB Air Force 1 Low, a collaboration that’s transforming Nike’s classic Uptown into a skate-ready shoe. This joint effort builds on the success of BenG’s 2019 Nike SB Dunk Low, a subtle white-and-green partnership that ended up being one of the store’s most memorable Nike SB designs.

This latest Air Force 1 Low goes in a completely different direction. Early images depict a brown suede upper contrasting with purple accents, creating a bolder look while maintaining the classic AF1 silhouette. The heel displays BenG branding, establishing a clear shop connection without overwhelming the overall aesthetic.

Nike SB has already demonstrated that there is demand for remakes of heritage Nike shoes when they are geared toward skateboarding. The Air Jordan 4 SB continued to drive that point home, and now it looks like the Air Force 1 Low is next up on the list of big classics getting the treatment. It makes sense since the AF1’s low-cut profile, sturdy construction and streetwear pedigree lends itself to a bigger Nike SB push.

As per Sneaker Market RO, the BenG x Nike SB Air Force 1 Low is planned for a release within a substantial pack, nodding to Nike’s original “Color of the Month” series. The collection will apparently feature several editions from skate shops worldwide, with releases slated for the period between Holiday 2026 and Spring 2027.
