Hiroshi Fujiwara’s Fragment Design continues its long-running partnership with Nike by introducing a new take on the Nike Mind 002 for Spring 2026. After previewing early pieces from the upcoming Fragment Design x Nike Mind collection on social media, Fujiwara now reveals a second silhouette from the project, arriving in a clean “Particle Grey” colorway.
While the previously seen Fragment Nike Mind 001 leaned heavily into the brand’s well-known minimalist aesthetic, the Mind 002 brings a few noticeable design updates. Most notably, the shoe replaces the model’s typical padded and dimpled upper with a breathable Flyknit construction. This shift gives the sneaker a lighter and more modern appearance while maintaining the understated style Fragment Design is known for.
Additional details help elevate the design without straying from the collaborative theme. A soft, textured overlay appears across the forefoot, while slim flat laces run through exposed Flywire cables for added structure. Beneath the foot, the Mind 002 retains its distinctive cushioning pods, which appear in Fragment’s signature blue tone for a subtle pop of color.
Branding remains minimal but intentional throughout the sneaker. Fragment logos are placed on the heel and insoles, reinforcing the collaboration without overpowering the clean grey palette. Printed text along the lateral midsole also references the upcoming Spring 2026 release window.
So far, the “Particle Grey” pair is one of two colorways revealed from the collaboration. Fujiwara previously teased an all-black version, suggesting that the Fragment Design x Nike Mind 002 lineup may expand further as the release approaches.
Fragment Nike Mind 002 Release Date
The Fragment Design x Nike Mind 002 “Particle Grey” is currently scheduled to release in Spring 2026. The sneaker will arrive in unisex sizing with a retail price of $140 USD.
