The Nike Air Max 90 Applies Patta-Like Waves To Two Mashup Variations

It’s officially Air Max Month. A wide celebration of “Neon,” both on the Air Max 95 and its catalog peers, started off the celebration, while on Air Max Day earnest, the Air Liquid Max will serve as 2026’s addition to the lineage.

New colorways in the family are never in short supply by any means, but it’s become evident that Beaverton has far more in store than just those two high-profile bookends. Now surfacing via overseas channels is a two-pack of mashed-up colorways, split between a “Photo Blue/Cyber” and an “Infrared 23″w ith light blue interplay.

Though the shades differ, the blocking is identical across each Air Max 90 here, leaving the bulk of their synthetic panels to cooler shades while tacking on hi-vis contrsat on the branding notes. Perhaps more eyebrow-raising is how that hardware appears: the usual rigid linework on the back tab and the front eyelet is warped and curved on these two pairs. We’d be remiss not to mention the shared DNA between the “Photo Blue/Cyber” and last year’s Patta collaboration; the “waves”-like style on these ostensible GRs only perks our ears up further.
