This time, the Jacquemus x Nike Moon Shoe “Soft Pearl” revisits one of the brand’s earliest track designs and reshapes it through the understated lens of the French fashion house.
Materials kick things off. The upper trades the usual sport construction for ruched nylon in a soft pearl tone. The shoe takes on a gathered quality, one that feels almost feminine. Keeping things tidy, accents of full-grain leather wrap the Swoosh, lace closure and heel.
Moving to the underside, Nike still nods to the OG template. A gum waffle outsole sits below the slim midsole, referencing the traction pattern that helped define Nike’s early track experiments.
