Few athletes wear their cities on their sleeves like Dame Lillard. It’s something he reflects with his latest release with adidas, the Dame 10 “Bay-eige”. Inspired by the Bay Area, where Dame grew up, the colorway doesn’t scream loud colors. Instead, the shoe boasts neutral colorways while still keeping it Dame-centric.
From start to finish, the upper is coated in a light beige shade, giving the shoe an even keel. Running along the sides, the Dame model’s signature 360-degree wave stripes appear in glossy Core Black, cutting through the upper and wrapping toward the heel. The layered lines bring energy to the silhouette and help shape the sleek profile seen across the Dame basketball series.
Small details add contrast without changing the overall feel of the shoe. Lucid Lemon accents appear on the forefoot adidas logo and lace area, offering a subtle flash of color against the neutral base. Around the collar and tongue, padded materials and breathable mesh keep the design comfortable while maintaining the performance focus expected from a modern hoop shoe.
Down below, a sculpted beige midsole supports the build, designed to handle quick stops and sharp cuts on the court. The outsole features a multi-directional traction pattern, while Damian Lillard’s personal logo sits on both the outsole and insole as a finishing touch.
