All of a sudden, it’s a boom time in the world of Jordan hybrids. With the Jordan 4 RM bringing the category arguably its peak in street validity and the Spizike Low proving shortly afterwards that the takedown model wasn’t a one-off in that regard, Beaverton has genuinely opened the floodgates when it comes to their mashup or offshoot designs of old. The Sixty Plus Low, Jordan Son of Mars Low, and novel excursions in the RestoMod family like the Jordan 3 RM all speak to the fertile grounds in the non-Retro world.
On a separate but connected note, MJ’s imprint has equally explored its 2000s catalog, whether through era-accurate colorways or reviving silhouettes entirely, with the Jordan Trunner LX and the O/S spawned in its wake providing perfect proof. Back from that same period and carrying that takedown energy is the Jordan OG, plotting its own return as official images hit the Nike server.
For the uninitiated, the Jordan OG dropped shortly after the Air Jordan 13 (the resemblance is no mistake) as the brand’s first women’s shoe, additionally arriving on the heels of the WNBA cutting the ribbon. It’d later hit the shelves anew around the pandemic, a run when this “White/Metallic Silver” colorway first dawned. To be sure, the Jumpman’s women-led roster has only grown in the time, now spread across a wide array of applications through the Jordan Mule, Jordan Heir Series 2, and an always healthy crop of ladies’ colorways, but the importance of the OG in getting the ball rolling can’t be erased.
The Air Jordan OG “White/Metallic Silver” doesn’t have a concrete release date, but expect this pair to touch down for Summer 2026. A $140 retail price is confirmed. Stay in the loop via our Jordan Releases 2026 hub.
