Nike’s continued push for lighter, cleaner builds is having an impact on their lifestyle models now more than ever before. As we head into spring and summer, this latest rendition embraces that sentiment while threading a needle between recognizable Air Max elements and something sleeker. The Nike Air Max 90 Terrascape “White/Blue Tint” does just that with a muted color scheme that feels purposeful, not bland.
White takes care of business throughout the upper with smooth leather plating and delicate reptilian accents. Ribbed material by the eyelets adds extra substance while maintaining that tonal integrity of the build. The shoe nods heavily to its Air Max 90 roots but this rendition feels more refined.
Chrome accents down the sides in the form of a Swoosh splashes a wet metal vibe into the mix. You can find that treatment on the tongue badge and heel strap as well; it’s a slight departure towards a high-end remix of the model.
Below, the Terrascape tooling introduces contrast through a semi-translucent Blue Tint midsole. The icy outsole continues that effect, wrapping the base in a frosted finish that highlights the visible Air unit.
