Big Bubble Business Continues With The Nike Air Max 95 “Sapphire”

There’s no telling exactly how many pairs of the Neon Air Max 95 moved earlier this month, but it’s clear that the big-bubble Nike sneaker still has a global grip on the sneaker game. Beyond that timeless Neon/Volt colorway, the brand continues to push the product to the masses, delivering strong colorways like this newly surfaced “Sapphire” pair heading into the Spring season.

We do know that what really works on the 95 is the black midsole. It camouflages the battle scars while keeping the rotund Air units nice and visible, while up top the classic grey gradient commands attention. This “Sapphire” pair isn’t quite up to the standards of the original, but it comes close enough to the sun with it’s own blend of greys — specifically Anthracite and Dark Smoke Grey.

With so many Air Max 95s hitting store shelves lately, it’s understandable that the exhaustion is kicking in. That is, until Nike drops another strong GR like this one that seems to be a victim of timing more than anything.

Regardless, you can find this latest Air Max 95 on Nike.com beginning April for $190.
