LSU is stepping into March Madness with some serious energy, backed by a fresh player-exclusive from Nike Basketball. As the tournament heats up, the Swoosh continues to spotlight its top college programs with special edition Kobe PEs, and the Tigers are the latest to join that lineup.
Following earlier drops for schools like Oregon, Kentucky, and USC, LSU now gets its own Nike Kobe 3 Protro Low PE. The design sticks to a clean, white-based upper, a look that has become consistent across this year’s college-issued pairs. From there, the shoe brings in LSU’s identity through purple and yellow accents, giving it that unmistakable team feel without overcomplicating the build.
One of the standout details sits underfoot, where the outsole features a camo-style pattern that subtly ties into the school’s colors. It adds just enough personality while keeping the overall look performance-driven. Finishing touches include LSU branding on the tongue, reinforcing its player-exclusive status.
Like the other March Madness Kobe PEs, this pair won’t see a public release. It remains reserved strictly for LSU athletes as they make their tournament run, adding another layer of exclusivity to Nike’s ongoing NCAA presence.
