Move over, Sergio Lozano. We kid, but Tinker Hatfield’s Air Max 90 has raced out of the breaks on the cusp between Q1 and Q2, challenging the mammoth Air Max 95 for most frequent sight of the Visible Air family.
And while even a hefty set of palette-swapped general releases would mark a step up for the AM90, the silhouette has seized the opportunity to debut some truly experimental layouts; soccer-inspired Total 90 and Hypervenom plays, the return of the Terrascape, and untethered material mixes each speak to the renewed energy. Somewhere between the latter two sits this Nike Air Max 90, flexing an eye towards hiking with pull laces yet really making its bones with quilted, checked textures running rampant across the body. A full suede mudguard and Seahawks-approved combo of blue and green trim round out what’s a zany arrangement overall.
This Nike Air Max 90 in “Coconut Milk/Pine Legion” should be coming to Nike.com in April, likely carrying an adjustment to the usual retail price given the new material choices here.
