Are we at a new high point for the hybrid Jordan? We’ll almost assuredly never reach full agreement among the fanbase on the validity of non-Retro J’s, but on a literal level, the stock has never been higher; jaunt through Nike.com and you’ll be face to face with offshoots new and old, from trendier fare like the CMFT Era, fresh cuts like the Spizike Low, and bring-back efforts like the Son Of Mars.
The Jordan Legacy 312 Low is a lowkey part of that overall mosaic, broadening the scope from silhouettes centered around Jordan’s winning ways (the 678, the 6 Rings) to pay homage to his early career by blending together the three models enumerated in its title along with the Alpha Force Low. Headed by Don C, its progenitor’s love for Jordan history now informs this “Wolf Grey” edition, obviously sharing a shade with the recently revived Jordan 5 but adapted in AJ1-style blocking, calling to mind its “Stealth” with the dark/light, bottom/top split seen here.
Expect this Jordan Legacy 312 Low in “Wolf Grey” to hit Nike.com in the coming weeks, retailing for $145. Watch our Jordan Release Dates hub for more info on what the Jumpman has in store for the rest of the year.
