Nike’s DMV-Inspired “Unseen Hours” Collection Adds The Original Zoom GT Cut

Nike Basketball showed a strong understanding of its audience by bringing the original Nike GT Cut back into the fold last year, responding to the model’s enduring popularity despite the arrival of three direct successors. Last month’s “Unseen Hours” collection marked a notable moment in that resurgence, featuring three styles inspired by the tri-state area, including a GT Cut “Dylan Harper” PE for New York.

Now Nike appears to be rolling out another “Unseen Hours” collection, this one heading down I-95 with nods to the DMV area. The Nike Hyperflight tipped off the pack last month, while this GT Cut all but confirms a refreshed trio. This pair is specifically tied to Virginia, marked by “VA” text and the “703” area code on the inner and outer tongue, referencing Arlington, Alexandria, Fairfax, and surrounding towns. The colorway draws from the cherry blossom bloom that blankets the region each spring, featuring a pink upper and a multicolor pattern on the interior. An hourglass appears on the left heel, while the right features an “Unseen Hours” emblem with a cherry blossom at the center.

No release date for the Nike GT Cut “DMV” aka “Virginia” has been announced as of this writing, but with peak cherry blossom season right around the corner, a drop likely isn’t far off. We should see one more DMV-inspired “Unseen Hours” sneaker surface soon to round out the trio.
