Action Bronson is expanding his colorful New Balance universe with the upcoming Action Bronson x New Balance 1890 “Planet Frog”, a new entry tied to his larger “Planet Frog” capsule. The Queens rapper has already built a strong lane with New Balance, and this latest project leans even deeper into his outdoor-heavy Baklava world.
The sneaker carries a rugged trail-inspired look with layered textures and bold color shifts throughout. Based on the images, the pair features an olive mesh base, grey suede overlays, brown leather tongues, and bright orange “1890” branding. Teal rope laces add contrast, while hits of red, blue, and green bring the design closer to Bronson’s loud, mismatched styling.
Action Bronson’s “Planet Frog” rollout also appears to go beyond footwear. The campaign imagery shows Baklava-branded apparel, a bright yellow outerwear piece, matching outdoor shorts, co-branded socks, and accessories that seem to include a G-Shock watch and Oakley sunglasses. The full look feels built around hiking, forest trails, and Bronson’s offbeat lifestyle aesthetic.
The New Balance 1890 itself blends performance energy with lifestyle appeal. Its chunky sole, mixed materials, and trail-ready shape fit Bronson’s usual approach, which often turns technical footwear into expressive streetwear. This “Planet Frog” colorway keeps that same formula while adding more earth tones and outdoor color pops.
The Action Bronson x New Balance 1890 “Planet Frog” is expected to release in Summer 2026. Pricing and full launch details have not been confirmed yet, but more information should surface as the capsule gets closer.
