Mercedes AMG Petronas’ F1 arm and adidas have been thick as thieves going on a year now, evident in the fact that the two partners brought in Bad Bunny for a high-octane run of product that included the Adiracer GT and a fully loaded range of apparel. Yet while certainly they’ll celebrate any chance to bring Benito into the mix, the duo is plenty capable of carrying product on their own, as the Mercedes AMG Petronas F1 adidas EVO SL demonstrates anew.

Minted for the Signapore Grand Prix in October, Mercedes and adidas get well ahead of lights out with the stacked everyday runner. Rather than adapting the industrial vistras of the bustling Southeast Asian hub, instead this shoe turns to the natural world, pulling its purple and light blue coloring from the Vanta orchid executed with a vivid purple-to-white gradient that takes over the entire shoe from heel to toe. In the spaces between, hi-vis teal drapes the Three Stripes and co-branding hits on the heels and tongues, further tinting an associated apparel collection coming with the shoes.
