Ja Morant’s first-ever takedown model is right around the corner. The Nike Twelve Time, a companion to the newly-released Ja 4 priced at just $90 in adult sizes, debuts September 4th in a number of colorways, lining up perfectly with back-to-school season and the beginning of youth circuits far and wide. Here we have official images of one of the three colorways dropping on that date, the Nike Twelve Time “Nightmare.”
The sneaker shares a name with the Ja 4 “Nightmare,” the launch colorway for Morant’s latest mainline signature model, yet takes a vastly different approach color-wise. The molded canvas upper is done in Purple Dynasty, while the heel and midsole come coated in black and Iron Grey.
Takedown models are generally far less characteristic than their mainline counterparts, but Nike Basketball did a fine job ensuring the Twelve Time still feels like Ja. The herringbone traction and jagged midsole detailing maintain much of the same aggressive aesthetic seen on his last mainline models, while all-over branding carries over from the Ja 3 onto the heel.
The Nike Ja Twelve Time “Nightmare” drops September 4th, 2026 alongside the “Dark Woods” and “Solar” colorways, all priced at $90 in men’s sizes. See official images below if you’ll be copping.
