The Nike Pegasus Plus 2 Checks Off “White/Volt”

Much like black and red for every new Jordan silhouette, bright Volt accents are something of a rite of passage for Nike Running, having become synonymous with the brand since Nike took over the 2012 Olympics in the shade. Lo and behold, the Nike Pegasus Plus 2, set to debut next week, has surfaced in a new women’s colorway that puts the signature hue front and center, shown here via official images.

As discussed in our initial coverage of the model, the Pegasus Plus 2 differentiates itself from its predecessor with visible Zoom Air in the forefoot, a piece of tech that gets an appropriately loud treatment here in Nike Running’s signature Volt. The upper and midsole are predominantly white, with another Volt hit appearing through the perforated side underlays. Purple Dynasty dresses the Swoosh and outsole, while a blue-to-Fuchsia Dream gradient runs from the forefoot to the heel across the midsole accent.
