Julian Klincewicz brings his visual world to OTW by Vans with a collection rooted in sketches, texture, and everyday symbols. The artist, director, photographer, and musician uses the project to tell a personal story through footwear, apparel, and accessories shaped by his “Joyous Chorus” concept.
Classic Vans silhouettes lead the collection, including the Old Skool 36 and Style 31. Both pairs feature suede overlays, leather details, custom labels, and artwork tied to Klincewicz’s long-running habit of daily to-do list drawings. A Roo charm also appears on the shoes, honoring his golden retriever and red fox lab mix.
The Old Skool 36 arrives in Ivy Green and Mango Mojito Orange, each using bold color blocking, black midsoles, and Vans’ waffle outsole. The Style 31 takes a quieter approach in Ink, with a fuzzy suede build and gold “The Joyous Chorus” text near the heel.
Comfort upgrades include cushioned insoles, soft padded collars, and Sola Foam ADC cushioning. Co-branded footbeds, OTW heel scabs, and custom detailing help connect each pair to the larger creative story.
Apparel and accessories extend the same theme through a collared fleece, vintage-washed tees, carpenter pants, a tote bag, and fuzzy socks. Screenprinted artwork, antique brass hardware, contrast stitching, and more Roo keychain details give the collection a worn-in, personal feel.
The Julian Klincewicz x OTW by Vans Collection releases May 15th. The Old Skool 36 colorways retail for $125, while the Style 31 is priced at $120.
