On the heels of a Spring/Summer 2026 collection that was arguably her hottest in recent memory, Wales Bonner is back in focus with another standout adidas drop. The British designer, already a key player in adiland in her own right, is taking things up a tier with Yohji Yamamoto’s premium adidas Y-3 label, the two forces set to debut a new model that feels primed for World Cup season.
Enter the adidas Y-3 Field Lizzard, a new soccer-inspired lifestyle model featuring a platform comparable to Y-3’s F50 cleat-inspired “Beast Pack.” The upper, meanwhile, is all-new, anchored by premium, reptilian-textured brown leather on the sides. Black leather strips run down from the eyelets to the toe, matched by a black tongue featuring Bonner’s hallmark visible stitching. The heel features a more tactile reptilian leather for added textural depth, joined by a striped interior and premium leather insoles. The Three Stripes appear in black and white, while Wales Bonner’s name is debossed at the rear.
The Wales Bonner x adidas Y-3 Field Lizzard is beginning to populate on EU retailer websites for a May 13th release, though no larger adidas CONFIRMED date has been announced as of this writing. Expect pricing around $400.
