Even without outside help, the Nike SB Air Force 1 Low has proven its worth as among the hottest crossovers from Nike SB’s widening scope. The Swoosh did well to keep the energy up surrounding the “new” silhouette, with special activations like an early All-Star Weekend drop and subsequent in-person launches at skate shops. Yet arguably its most notable collaboration to date still looms, as Olympic Gold winner Yuto Horigome will notch his take on the Nike SB Air Force 1 Low come Holiday 2026.
The launch is still a ways away, yet early looks have continued to trickle in months ahead of time. What we have here is something of a different quality — images below depict a looksee sample version of the Yuto Horigome x Nike SB Air Force 1 Low. Overall, the tooling doesn’t really change that much, with the relaxed build befitting this skate side quest, and material choices sticking to what we’ve seen from the presumed public pair. Indeed, the most notable change is a swap from pine green trim to a golden yellow. Exactly why Yuto and the team went with the more naturalistic tone likely won’t be revealed until the official reveal begins later this year. Yet we already know that Horigome has love for this sample version; he recently sported it for a skate session that made its way to his socials.
Catch “what could have been” via the images below. The public release of the Yuto Horigome Nike SB Air Force 1 Low remains on track for Holiday 2026 (sometime between October and the end of the year.)
