Supreme x SALEM brings one of music’s most elusive acts into the brand’s Spring 2026 lineup. The collaboration highlights SALEM’s dark visual language while connecting streetwear with a group that helped shape internet-era style and sound.
SALEM formed in Northern Michigan in 2006 with Jack Donoghue, John Holland, and former member Heather Marlatt. The group gained attention through a shadowy mix of Houston chopped-and-screwed, Chicago juke, shoegaze, noise, drone, and classical influences. That sound later became closely tied to the rise of witch house.
Before streaming dominated music discovery, SALEM built its following through self-released .zip files shared across blogs and web forums. Their 2010 debut album, King Night, pushed that mystique further with heavy drum machines, haunting melodies, distorted samples, and tense synth layers.
SALEM returned in 2020 with Fires in Heaven after years of silence, reaffirming their influence among longtime fans. Supreme’s latest music capsule feels different from past collaborations with legacy names like Wu-Tang Clan or Misfits. Rather than leaning fully on nostalgia, SALEM reflects a more hidden creative world tied to fashion, sound, and digital culture.
The collection includes half-zip stadium jackets, graphic tees, New Era fitted hats, zip-up hoodies with plaid liners, and anti-slip hospital socks. Several pieces feature SALEM’s “pill” mascot, while the socks include the group’s hand-drawn star motif as the grip design.
Supreme’s lookbook features SALEM’s John Holland, rapper Skrilla, and model Mazzy Joya. The Supreme x SALEM collection releases May 14, 2026 at Supreme stores and online at 11 AM ET.
