Nike continues to push the Air Force 1 into more functional territory with the upcoming Nike Air Force 1 Vibram “Bomber Grey”. The weather-ready low-top is expected to release in Summer 2026 for $140, arriving in a Barely Grey, City Grey, Bomber Grey, and Speed Yellow color mix.
A blue-grey grid textile upper gives this pair its main visual identity. The ripstop-style build wraps the toe box, side panels, eyestays, and heel, creating a more technical look than a standard leather Air Force 1. Grey laces and matching Swooshes keep the palette muted, while black collar padding and tongue details add a sharper finish.
The biggest upgrade sits underfoot, where a custom Vibram outsole brings added grip and durability to the classic AF1 shape. Nike keeps the familiar Air Force 1 tread pattern visible, but the rugged black sole gives the shoe a more outdoor-ready feel. That detail makes the pair stand out as a stronger everyday option for rainy sidewalks and rougher seasonal wear.
Speed Yellow Vibram branding adds the only bright pop, appearing on the outsole badge and near the heel. A metal AF1 lace dubrae, tonal Nike Air tongue branding, and embossed heel details keep the design connected to the model’s original DNA.
The Nike Air Force 1 Vibram “Bomber Grey” is expected to release in Summer 2026 through Nike.com and select retailers. With its grippy outsole, ripstop-style upper, and muted bluescale finish, this release brings a practical update to one of Nike’s most familiar sneakers.
