The adidas ClimaCool Boat Shoe reworks the early-2000s runner through a more lifestyle-driven lens. Both pairs keep the model’s ventilated ClimaCool tooling, exposed midfoot window, and aggressive outsole traction, but adidas shifts the upper into a boat-shoe shape with moc-toe stitching, rope-style laces, and a lower casual profile.
The “Wheat” pair leans into a classic outdoor look with a tan nubuck/suede upper, tonal stitching, and matching laces. A padded textile collar adds comfort around the ankle, while smooth leather overlays appear on the heel and lace panel. Underfoot, the shoe uses a cream midsole with brown and translucent ClimaCool details, giving the pair a rugged but clean finish.
The “Black” colorway takes a stealthier approach with a full black upper mixing soft suede/nubuck across the toe and side panels with pebbled leather overlays along the mudguard, heel, and collar. Tonal laces, dark adidas branding, and an all-black sole unit keep the design sleek. The visible ClimaCool midfoot shank and traction-heavy outsole still give it that technical adidas DNA.
