UnheardOf adidas Piggy Runner “Porkchop” Sample

by thesneakerscroll@gmail.com

Philip Lipschutz brought another chapter of the UnheardOf x adidas Piggy Runner story to SneakerCon Detroit. The Cincinnati sneaker creative revealed a rare 1-of-1 “Porkchop” sample, giving fans a closer look at an unreleased pair that was not produced for retail.

The UnheardOf x adidas Piggy Runner “Porkchop” builds on the playful adistar Control 5 project with a softer food-inspired palette. Light beige mesh and suede set the base, while pink accents land across the Three Stripes, piping, lace tips, and heel details.

Piggy Runner branding keeps the character-driven theme front and center. The tongue features the project’s cartoon pig graphic, while the heels include embroidered eyes, “Piggy” and “Dumpy” text, and a “Sample Not For Resale” tag inside the collar. The graphic insole adds more personality with colorful artwork tied to the same playful concept.

UnheardOf’s Piggy Runner series has already become one of adidas’ more unexpected recent collaborations. The original pink version helped introduce the plush, pig-themed story, while follow-up pairs expanded the idea with different seasonal looks. This “Porkchop” sample shows how far the theme was explored behind the scenes.

A public release has not been announced for the UnheardOf x adidas Piggy Runner “Porkchop.” For now, the pair remains a 1-of-1 sample and another rare piece from Philip Lipschutz’s growing adidas collaboration archive.
