PUMA’s H-Street line will receive a bit of metallic-inspired treatment from Sneaker Politics. The “Trophies” collab will release May 22nd in store at all Sneaker Politics locations at 6 PM ET and online May 23rd at 9 AM CT. Price tags are set at $120 USD.
Crafted atop the PUMA H-Street silhouette, inspired by their track-focused lineage, the sneaker maintains the slim silhouette we’ve come to associate with the PUMA Harambee running spike from the 2000s. Sneaker Politics uses that halo as a starting point while amping up the warmth with bronze synthetic leather and copper brown suede overlays. While the combination reads dressy over tech, you can still pick up on the heritage of the running-spike inspired model.
Off-white was used on the tongue and midsole to help give the upper some visual breathing room. Red Sneaker Politics branding appears on the tongue while a black outsole creates further contrast on the bottom of the bronze-heavy silhouette.
Completing the package, Sneaker Politics includes a custom shoebox and commemorative dustbag with every pair. You definitely don’t need me to explain how well that fits the namesake.
