Jordan Brand continues its expansion into performance basketball footwear with the Jordan Triangle. This low-cut silhouette is designed to keep up with today’s game. It will launch worldwide on July 2 in three colorways: Baltic Blue, Volt and Hyper Punch.
Built for guards, wings, bigs, and younger hoopers still figuring out their role, the Jordan Triangle is not tied to one position. It is designed for players who spend a full game cutting, switching, attacking downhill, defending in space, and taking contact around the rim. Pairs will be available through Jordan.com and select retailers.
The Triangle name nods to the famous offense, but the shoe’s purpose is more modern than nostalgic. Jordan Brand shaped it around quick movement and all-around support, giving players a low-profile ride that keeps them close to the court without stripping away cushioning.
ZoomX foam is utilized through the forefoot for a responsive feel on initial steps, takeoffs, and quick accelerations. Heel impact absorption is provided by Air Zoom cushioning and a Cushlon 3.0 carrier delivers plush comfort over the course of longer runs. The combination of these elements allow the shoe to have balance of rebound and control.
Midfoot stability is provided by an injection molded shank keeping your foot locked in during hard cuts and rapid direction changes. Upper is constructed with a carbon-fiber inspired woven material adding structure and breathability without feeling bulky.
Full-length Hart rubber 2.0 herringbone traction handles the grip underfoot. That detail matters for a shoe built around two-way play, especially for players sliding on defense one possession and pushing the pace the next.
Jordan Brand athletes Cameron Boozer and Sarah Strong both pointed to the shoe’s comfort, support, and responsive feel. Their feedback fits the Triangle’s bigger goal: a performance model that can handle heavy minutes without feeling limited to one type of player.
The Jordan Triangle arrives July 2nd in Baltic Blue, Volt, and Hyper Punch. Packing ZoomX, Air Zoom, Cushlon 3.0, woven support and herringbone traction into one shoe, Jordan Brand is adding some versatile next-play ability to its basketball arsenal for the next generation of hoopers.
