The Air Jordan 1 Low OG “Sail” keeps things simple for summer without falling into the usual all-white lane. Jordan Brand dresses the low-top retro in a soft Sail finish, giving the shoe a warmer, off-white look that feels more relaxed than a standard white leather pair.
Currently, the Air Jordan 1 Low OG “Sail” is reported to release overseas on June 6th. A U.S. launch has not been officially confirmed at this time. The pair is expected to arrive under style code HQ6998-100, though stateside availability has not been announced.
Sail covers nearly the entire shoe, including the leather upper, laces, midsole, and outsole. That tonal setup puts more focus on the shape of the model, especially the OG-style build and the larger Swoosh that recently returned to the Air Jordan 1 Low OG. Red Nike Air branding on the tongue and insoles breaks up the neutral look without changing the overall feel.
Alternate bright laces are also expected to come with the pair, giving buyers the option to add a stronger pop of color. Still, the main appeal here is the understated Sail-on-Sail finish, which fits right into the current demand for easy neutral sneakers that can be worn often.
With an overseas release date now reported, the next update to watch for is an official U.S. drop date.
