A Ma Maniére is transitioning their Nike collaboration over to the Pegasus Premium for a two colorway release inspired by their campaign theme, “Timing Is Everything.” Expecting a Black/Burgundy Crush and Summit White/Metallic Silver duo, both are looking to drop through AMAM and partner retailers in early June.
The collection will initially release first through EQL on A Ma Maniére, Social Status, APB and JAIDE beginning today through June 2nd at 3 PM ET. Remaining pairs will drop online at A Ma Maniére on June 5th at 11 AM ET and in-store at 12 PM local time.
The theme A Ma Maniére developed for this release is one centered around Black love, movement, community and how timing cultivates special bonds. Showcased through TSU, timing your drip becomes more visceral than just another release. TSU will also host an exclusive “Timing Is Everything” activation from the brand, complete with a private invite-only two mile run on campus.
Released in two very distinct colorways, the A Ma Maniére x Nike Pegasus Premium caters to completely different atmospheres. The Black/Burgundy Crush colorway covers a dark mesh upper in muted burgundy accents, chrome Swooshes, cream midsole and dark outsole accents. On the other hand, the Summit White/Metallic Silver takes things lighter with a white mesh upper, black accents, metallic Swooshes, cream foam padding and translucent Air units.
Nike’ Pegasus Premium is what truly gives this collab a performance backbone. Featuring ZoomX foam, a sculpted Air Zoom unit and ReactX foam, this stacked outsole is made for responsive running. Lightweight engineered mesh adorns the upper and A Ma Maniére branding dots the toe box, tongue strip, toe box and heel tabs.
Style codes for these sneakers are IM0701-100 (White) and IM0701-001 (Black/Burgundy Crush). Both colorways maintain the signature blend of luxurious heritage and everyday appeal found on every pair of A Ma Maniére’ shoes, although the introduction of the Pegasus Premium platform elevates the running dynamic of the collaboration.
Nike’s latest collaboration with A Ma Maniére almost feels less like a single-drop sneaker and more like a campaign moment. Featuring two colorways, a TSU-centric rollout and a performance silhouette at its hub, “Timing Is Everything” provides the Pegasus Premium with a narrative larger than product stills.
