New Balance has revamped its basketball lineup to mixed reviews, debuting the P400 and P350 to a community that’s found both models hit or miss depending on performance needs. The one unanimous bright spot is that both have come out the gate swinging with strong colorways, many leaning into a vintage, classic hoops sort of aesthetic.
This latest New Balance P400 fits that bill well, arriving in a “Red/Black” colorway that pulls straight from the Chicago Bulls and the team’s long-established influence on the sneaker world. Red mesh and suede form the upper, contrasted by black hits on the tongue, “N” logos, and outsole. The midsole core and heel come in white for a bit more variety.
